This
is a great design, Incorporating both the smooth bezel on two sides of the
diamond- leaving a nice are on the side appearing to float. A "Mock
Tension Ring" if you will.

you look at the side view, the support below is visible. This makes for a
much more comfortable and stable ring.
The
bottom of the stone can be open to air
Or we
can make the ring smooth on the bottom. In any case, the ring will be
solid unless you specifically request we hollow out the inside.

is a variation on the theme. This ring has smooth shoulders.
